About TekTrek Programs

TekTrek audio programs are an immersive experience bringing natural, cultural, and historical places alive using music, rich sound effects, and historical dramatizations. We specialize in tourist destinations and develop our audio programs in partnership with local tourism organizations such as conventions and visitors bureaus, destination management organizations, museums, and tourism agencies.

The partnering organization and their researchers provide and outline content for the audio presentation. TekTrek provides professional scripting and audio production. TekTrek consultants are available to work with traffic management and interpretive design. We will help you choose the appropriate technology for the interpretive program such as MP3 players, push button audio, motion-activated speakers, interactive kiosks or other forms of audio playback systems.

We select projects based on their educational value, total visitation, and prospective method of distribution. The partnering organization will receive a share of the revenues. These are typically dedicated for additional educational or interpretive projects. We also donate a portion of the proceeds to the World Heritage Alliance for local economic development.
