TekTrek - explore your world
Academex announces the launch of its interactive web site and affiliate program.
Denver, Colorado – July 16, 2007
Academex Digital Publishing, makers of TekTrek® downloadable destination guides, announced today that it has launched its new interactive web site that allows users to explore virtual tours of popular heritage destinations and World Heritage sites. At the same time, the company also announced that it is launching an affiliate program to allow sellers of travel related products to offer TekTrek products on their sites and earn commissions from all referred sales.

The new website at www.tektrek.com gives travelers an experience into the sights and sounds of a destination through the streaming samples of TekTrek® programs. It also allows them to download free maps of the sites and purchase the downloadable version for their iPod, or mp3 player.

“The new site is an important step in our ability to deliver our content. We are committed to providing the best quality information about natural, cultural, and historical destinations for travelers. The new website and affiliate program allow us to partner with educational and travel related organizations to get that done,” said Jeff Cozart, president of Academex Digital Publishing.

Academex Digital Publishing became an associate partner in the World Heritage Alliance, a partnership to promote sustainable tourism, in November, 2006. The company partners with destination marketing organizations and administrators of cultural, historical, and natural sites to promote sustainable tourism and historical preservation.
